 Post subject: Overland Unit Graphics
PostPosted: Sat Jan 19, 2013 9:41 pm
I sure the Old Banshee team will eventually produce a stunning grpahics package, but in the meantime I've put together a set of unit graphics and modded OOBs. I've completed Mine Run, Wilderness, Spotsylvania, and North Anna. Anybody interested?

And for what it's worth, I've written a small program that takes an OOB and converts it to a csv file. Anybody need it?

why dont you come join the team at banshee we can put your mods up. The other thing is we are working on the oob's with a bitmap you can be sure your numbers will be different to ours.. You can send me a copy of both.

any idea when the rank and file can expect the Overland mod to be available.

very difficult to get used to the "Tiller" graphics after playing with the "Banshee" mods.

The Overland release is a work in progress. It's a sizeable task ...probably the biggest yet, but the team are well into it.
The Leader Bitmap is BIG and colouring all those pictures takes time: there were 130 on Ozark, 250 on Gettysburg and there are about 450 here without adding any extra faces! (the original release uses the same face for a large number of officers both Union & Reb) We are working our way through them though.
The Units are more or less completed. A taster here:

top row:
155th New York
4th New York Heavy Artillery
2nd New Hampshire
Union Sharpshooters
15th New York Engineers
5th Massachusetts Colored Cavalry (Dismounted)
bottom row:
62nd Virginia Mounted Infantry (Dismounted)
7th Louisiana
25th Virginia
2nd Maryland
VMI Cadet Battalion
45th Virginia Battalion
