What do you think of using Boardgames played in Vassal (or in real life, for that matter) to be used as official games for the club?

Also available for board game conversions from HPS:

An interesting idea for board games.

I do not see a problem. I think we opened the club up for other computer Civil War games awhile back, but I may be mistaken as I have seen very few postings about them. Might even gain more converts to the Tiller games.

I have purchased Aide Camp many years ago as well as tried the free Cyberboard and Vassal. There is not much interest in the club as I have mentioned it many times and even ask the question on the join form. I have not really tried to play any mostly using it to create maps. I do have many boardgame versions. There is a group who play these but they do not seem to be in our club for the most part.

Pierre, if you want to try Vassal some time, let me know.

I just bought the board game Three Battles of Manassas. There is a Vassal Engine for the game
