A crisp pop salute to Blake and his efforts to the Club.

<Salute>

Talented and enjoyable.

#s 3 & 2 of the Top Ten List are sadly, (?), too true, especially # 3.

Add to that Marilyn, Benny, Calvin and Hobbes and it looks like we have a winner.

Keep up the outstanding work.

Respectfully

Gen. Blake,

Excellent 1st edition, good to see the expansion of your editorial projects to include the whole club, always entertaining.

Not too bad at all, although the fast food order you quoted as being attributed to me is slightly inaccurate, I had two Jackson Burgers. Plus I think the publication requires a lot more CSA bias

Very nice job Blake. I enjoyed the articles. I like Calvin and Hobbes as well.

I do agree that Ty Cobb was the greatest Tiger.

You might check out Harper's Weekly issues on the net. Some good articles there.

Excellent work Blake and very entertaining!!! Between the Lines is also a very clever title. All in all a terrific effort and I now have the picture of Marilynn, from the first edition, hung inside my tent.

Well done suh!!

John

My hat is off to everyone involved in this endeavor. I especially enjoyed the "10 ways" article ... I can still related, even though I've spent the last who-knows-how-much time at a desk rather than out in the trenches!

I was also thrilled to identify the Shiloh park in the photo of Leon Korotko and his wife ... before I even read the caption! I would love to know when that was taken. Could it have been last April, during the 150th Shiloh reenactment, when I was there, too? I would love to see some sort of articles, either in this publication, in the Mason-Dixon Tavern, or in the Smoking Room, about other reenactors in the club. Maybe we could get together during upcoming events!

Good day Sir!

As much as I would love to be at the National Millitary Parks as they go through their sesquicentenial, (sp?), celebrations,
(all right, the American Heritage Dictionary says spot on!), it was taken 2007 as we were looking at property around Knoxville.

Yes, I am geographically correct.
But the Missus indulged me as I hung a very hard right for Shiloh and Graceland as we went down I-75 from Detroit to Knoxville.
Shiloh was easily worth it.
Graceland . . . I am an Elvis fan so it is hard to disparage it, but I will say I would have rather taken that day and added it for another one at Shiloh.

Wishing all in the club good gaming.

Respectfully

Man, you ain't kidding! If you were looking for Knoxville around Savannah, Tennessee (Shiloh), than boy were you lost!

Thanks all for the feedback on the magazine!

Nope Blake, being a man, (technically), (I think), I am not geographically challenged.
I'ze knows one goes from Detroit to burn Atlanta by pretty much a straight shot through Knoxville.

Shiloh is way over yonder by Pemberton's Bull-Pen*

Interestingly enough the Missus was aware of this geographical anomaly in our plans and still said go for it.

I never need no more encouragement than that!

*(And I'm talking old-school defintion)

Respectfully to all.
