I have downloaded the new patch but after installing it I am still up on version 1.00. Does anyone have a hint for me. Other than catch a clue. Lt Col Gremmels 2/3/X Corp AoO |

You have to make sure you either install the patch FROM the 1776 folder or make sure that the patch install file points to the 1776 folder. Tom, You are aware that this is a "zip" file right? And that you must run it to unzip it into the 1776 directory, right? No offense meant, but I have seen several people who just tried to copy the file into their game directory, and that won't do the trick... Let us know what happens. Rich <HTML> Maj. I figured it out. I first downloaded the help file only thinking this was all I needed. I went back and downloaded the other file and now it works. What a difference this game is. Thanks all. Lt Col Gremmels 2/3/X Corp AoO |

Tom, the cheapest place he is going to find them is probably on Chip's n' Bits. There's links for both the games on the club's Join up form. Glad to hear he will be joining us as well. John, While what Ernie says may be true, it seems to me that more Brits are looking for fights than Yanks are, so you may have better luck finding an opponent as a Yank.
