Scott,
I have taken some online Choctaw language classes back in the day when I had more time, and have grammar books and dictionary, but to say I was a speaker would be a stretch. Also, I live in Alabama and many of our towns and rivers are named from old Creek/Choctaw/Chickasaw words and that is what sparked my interest initially.

Are the view numbers real for this post and others for that matter? 7,856 views seems high given the forum traffic, same goes for number of views on other posts
