This is an attempt to get an earlier start on lining up combatants for the this Sunday's Match - 19 Oct 2003 at 0700PDT/1000EDT/1500GMT. We had a rather disappointing turnout of only four players last match, as well as NO KM representation. If the time is a problem, make it known. This thing is not set in stone. We're still trying to establish a tradition here and the start time could be adjusted to accomodate more players. See you there!

It would appear that our best chance of this actually working is if the host has DX9b and everyone is using v. 1.03. Sean fits these criteria, but I believe he's still on the road. CE8 w/ the .pdt that Dierk sent out would probably be a good contest.

(1) Can we find another DX9b host? I'm on DX8 with Windows ME.

(2) Does everyone have the scenario Carl mentioned? I have the original CE8. Is Dierk's modified version posted on the board?

CMI, Im on eastern standard time. My reason for wanting it earlier was a selfish one. I didnt want to miss any of ESPNs NFL countdown. I will be there for the battle. Should the new 1.03 patch be loaded, since I have directX9?

I'd like to accomodate, but 0600 PDT is a bit early as it would necessitate me waking at 0530. There's no way I'm doing that on a Sunday with no appreciable amount of money at stake. What's your time zone?

You, Mr Walter, and Mr Driscoll are KM stalwarts. I understand that individuals have lives beyond this club. I only hope for a broader KM representation so that even when 'life' intervenes the proud name of the KM may still be represented in the Sunday Matches.
