Officiers Bonjour Allies,

Having found no one to fight on the field of Eylau the Empereur has marched his legions to the door step of Moscow and offers battle. Who will defend Mother Russia?

I would like engage an experienced officer in a full 3 day battle (140 turn, Scn.# SB_FBorodinoNoFix) of the battle of Borodino from the Napoleon's Russia Campaign game. I would like to exchange 3+ turns per week. I am negotiable on optional rules. If interested please send courier to my HQ.

Yours respectfully,

Mon Generale, it causes me much distress to see a challenge linger on the vine, much like a Frenchman's undergarments hanging on the line to dry. Even the vultures and sewer rats will not go near them. Afraid they may catch something evil. So I have placed a chipoltle scented clamp on my nose that will enable me to take this fight to the field. You asked for "experienced" so I leave that up to you if I qualify. My servant Maria regularly dries behind my ears.

If more experience is required I understand and will do my best to garner more.

Your servant,

Bonjour Capitao Bradshaw,

I do not believe I have ever received such a "charming" invitation to do battle. I accept your offer and hope to add to your experience.

I would like to discuss optional rules if we may. I would like to suggest the following: All ON except these:

MDF
Rout Limitng
Optional Fire Results
Partial Retreats
Optional Melee Results
Multi Infantry Melees

Plus I would like to use MOE IV tournement rules with No Melee Elimination.

If these conditions are acceptable then we may proceed if not please make your reccomendations for change.

Yours respectfully,

These rules are acceptable. En garde, I cry, whilst drawing my saber neat decapitating my aide de camp!

Bad news. With my limited knowledge of foreign languages, wine, and sultry women, I have embarked on a path using the wrong game. Oy vey, what an embarrassment! So the challenge is still open.
