I'm beginning to feel a lot like Lee at that time in his life. My soldiers are going no where, my cannons are only resulting in fatigue, and my most worthy opponent has barely moved a muscle yet. Gotta love these games!

My opponent gives me honour. He came at me like the dervishes of old. It appears that I had far too many cannon. Mes belle filles. Just as well!

A bit of luck and (in all humility) a bit of timing.

Next time, mon ami.

You play well, and are welcome back.

Yes, it was a humiliating defeat. My new uniform all covered in mud after falling from my horse because it would not around fast enough, my sword bent when it bumbled itself between my legs causing me to fall again, and a bowl of Borscht fell on the battle plans so I didn't know whether to advance on the beets or flank the sour cream. It was truly a disaster.

Well played my vacationing opponent, well played.
