Allied Chap or chaps required for either:

Morovia Campaign (250turns), and/or

Quatra Bra + Ligny Historical (36 turns).

Both playing MOEIV rules, embedded melee, weak ZOC and other standard optional rules but also with two house rules -

1. No voluntary firing through own troops.

2. Artillery firing overhead of own troops allowed but must have two clear hexes in front of the battery and two clear hexes in front of the target unit.

Looking at a good and regular turn exchange of 3-4 turns a week. Open to discuss other rules if required.

Monsieur I would love to learn the rules for MOE and I agree that firing though and over the heads of the guy in front is wrong if the 1st rank fired and knelled that's another thing. Let's me see if I understand the rules charging allowed 1st move with Cav. march fire melee cav charge last. If this is right I be more then glade to play ju.

Hi Clifton,

You really should know how the MOE rules work by now lol! Your missing out on the tournaments for sure :frenchcharge:

However I'm happy to do a Ligny (Historical - 38 turns) with you as its a good one for most of the situations to be in effect.

Basically the MOE/Embedded melee system works like this:

1. You move and fire any troops you wish and set up ALL your melee attacks for the turn (skirmishers of less than 100 strength can be melee attacked at ANY time during the turn).

2. Cavalry can conduct their attacks first if you wish and do ONE follow on charge followed by all the remaining melee attack resolutions. Then cavalry with follow on charge moves can complete those melee attacks remaining.

3. Then all other units you have left that are able to can fire and/or move. No more melee attacks are permitted (except on the skirmish units less than 100 strength).

Let me know :frenchsalute:

Hi Clifton,

Ok Morovia it is then. What's your email and I'll send the first turn away to you?
