You have cast your net very wide in the sea of Enemies of France. Even some French are the enemy. I have the Waterloo game and will enjoy a larger set piece. I am currently being schooled, much to my dismay, in a Leipzig campaign. I hope to turn these painful lessons into something to smile about.

My valued servant and confidante, Maria, will accept your terms, if properly escorted ( the local Parish Priest would be best). My HQ is above the tavern called " Le French Surrendere~Often" on nh260 at msn.com avenue. It serves a rather delicious French Dip sandwhich.

Your servant,

Let us go historical, that way I am assured a victory as that is the way history went. Remember to abide by that rule ...

Salute!

I'm glad to see two of my friends (albeit one from the other side of the hill) about to engage one another upon the battle maps.

Having previously engaged with Richard on a Leipzig game battle map, and currently engaged in a Hypo scenario from the Waterloo game, I can recommend him as a worthy opponent.

And it was my pleasure to recently serve as the training instructor for David in the Ecole Militaire - so I can recommend him as well.

I wish you both fun upon your chosen battle map, though I wish David rather more luck to his eagles.

Regards,

Yikes! He has had formal training? That puts a wrinkle in my plans.

Have no fear, Colonel Bradshaw, your French opponent has no doubt received formal dance training. His ballerina shoes and tutu will never prevail against hot Spanish lead.

Lead infused pleasantries have been extended on both sides. Since this will be historical, I have ordered Maria, my confidant and servant, to pack a lunch to go for the expected pursuit of the fleeing French persons of dubious lineage and odors.
