I have returned. I am weak and weary from my captivity. Would anyone like to beat up a old soldier? I have all the HPS games up to Austerlitz. I prefer embedded melee.

Welcome back Jon!

I'll also throw my hat into the ring. I don't play many Battles these days. I sit in my aged armchair pontificating to the newcomers these days.

Old Foes, Old Comrades! Greetings! I think I should keep it to one game to start. Please suggest a game and scenario and I will decide which by flipping a coin or something.

For me I'd suggest a company level game in Waterloo. Given the scale of those scenarios there is no need for any house rules to addle my poor brain.

Hey Andy, I would rather play a standard battalion level game if you are interested in that scale.

Campaign 1814 / Bautzen / Leipzig

Any scenario.

Yes I can do that. Something from Waterloo? I won't need to worry about embedded melee there as the allies spend their time defending or running.

Ken - of the titles you have listed I think Jon only has Leipzig.

Jon - the later games are 10 minutes per turn and that really cuts out panzerblitz tactics.

Sir Muddy, I can meet you at Leipzig. I know nothing about any of the scenarios so would you make a selection? Andy, I will gladly meet you at Waterloo. How about one of the historical fights.

Is Waterloo-Wavre too big? Or just plain historical Waterloo?

You choose scenario and Optional Rules. NME has to be on, and I'm not a big fan of Isolation Rules being on at Waterloo but leave that to you. Apart from Embedded Melee (must read up on that again) I assume you'd like a skirmisher leash?

Send along file when ready as the French always go first.

Hi Andy,

Sorry for the delay. I had a computer malfunction. I have stated Historical Waterloo. I don't have your email address so send me a message at thayer2544@gmail.com and I will send you the turn. Good luck.
