Post subject:  Reliable French Officer for any HPS campaign

Gentlemen of the French Army, I am looking for a reliable opponent, interested in a somewhat historical style of play, for any full HPS campaign--Wagram preferred, but NRC or Eckmuhl are fine as well. Turnover rate should be a file every other day, usually I can do more, but don't promise it, nor do I expect it from my opponent. Opponents of roughly equal rank preferred, but not a condition.

I would like to use the following house rules--

1) skirmishers within 3 hexes of formed battalion of parent brigade, unless in covered terrain;
2) no cavalry charges where the first hex meleed is not a clear hex (note that this allows melees by non-charging cavalry, so to prevent cavalry from forever blocking non-clear victory objectives);
3) no withdrawing units from the map when they are actually engaged with the enemy.

If a prospective opponent should be interested in a house rule that slows down the pace and prevents too frequent ZOC kills, like the "embedded melee phase", I am open to that as well, but it's not a condition.

Optional rules: most ON, optional fire/melee tables OFF (and there is something else except MDF that I wanted OFF but don't have the game here so I will add that info later [:I]) ...

OK Here are my rules--

If my rules as posted above are acceptable to you, Colonel, I'd be happy to accept your offer of a Russian campaign. Feel free to send me a file. [:)]

Sir,

I am available for a NRC campaign game. I would look forward to meeting you on the battlefield. I would understand if your card is full and would need to move it to another time.

Sir, I am fine at the moment, games started with both my takers and all my opponents maintain a nice turnover rate right now. Should there be an opening later on, I shall not fail to contact you and see if you are still interested. [:)]
