Bonjour à tous,

I am looking for someone willing to play the Russian side on one of the longer scenarios in BG - Napoleon in Russia. Since I played Kutuzov Turns to fight many times, I would like to try one of the variants where the French arrive by the south.

We could discuss it but I would prefer to play with all options on (except line movement restriction) and no house rules.

I am waiting for your messager at pyguinard@hotmail.com

See you on the battlefield!

I can't take the game right now, but was wondering why you don't want to play with "line disruption" ON[?]

My way of seeing things is that the line movement restriction option does not reflect historical realism.

From what I learned about the Napoleonic era, batalions were able to advance in line formation on clear terrain without automatically getting disordered. Even before these days, the armies of Frederick the Great were a good example of good line movement. They were able to form lines to (slowly) move forward to meet the ennemy, in good order on the battlefield.
