This young officer would like to fight the battle of Raab. Having just earned my spurs and bars and would like to put them to good use.

Do I have any takers...

Will consider house rules if opponent would like them.

Ken Cassady at your service...

Sir,

Have you ever find an opponent? If not, I'll take the challenge. Please don't turn line movement disruption on. The others as you find most realistic.

Ken - I am wondering if you and your opponent, Anton, would send me a after-the-battle report on the scenario. List the scenario name (.scn file name) and tell me if you felt it was a good scenario.

Also - did you know that you can setup a Profile for your board username where you can list your full rank and name as well as unit affiliation? Just click on the Profile link above and enter in your password and near the lower right corner you will find a space where you can add in your info. You can also include picture if you like.

Ok, Bill. I'll send you an aftermatch and a short discription of the battle. What should I include in it except the file name and my opinion?

That would be just fine. A game file and a short paragraph on if you feel that the scenario is balanced or not. Be candid but remember that Raab was a historical fight that John shouldnt have fought. I did my best to balance it but if you feel that some feature doesnt match let me know.

Note: in a future release the Raab creek hexsides (not the full hex river terrain) will be fordable by the infantry only. I will still keep the stream terrain types where you see them but the value for creeks for infantry in the PDT file will no longer be "0" but will become "14" or something like that. Hard to cross but not impossible.

Cavalry and artillery will still be unable to cross at creeks. Which was why the cavalry sought a crossing point further <s>down</s> up stream.
