I am seeking a steady French opponent that will fight me in my newly revamped version of the Eckmuhl Campaign - one scenario (530 turns).

In this new version there are a few extra sites for bridges as well as Pioneers in the OB. The OB will then be put in the next patch that we do for the game. For now it will be part of a test campaign that my opponent and I will be playing.

Its the same campaign as before - just add in a few new bridging sites (they are worth 0 at start - you use Pioneers to strengthen them).

Also we will be playing with strict Bridge strength rules as discussed by Dierk and myself.

Mainly:

Bridge Value - Allowed Troops
150 and over - all troops
100-149 - cavalry, pioneers and infantry only
50 to 100 - infantry and pioneers only
0 to 49 - only pioneers - this to allow them to move over the span to help repair other broken sectors

Example: you have a bridge that has 32 points. Only pioneers can go across this structure. You have a bridge that has 123 points - only artillery is prohibited from crossing this structure. All other troops may cross.

This campaign will get underway after I get settled in my new home in Idaho. I will try and send my opponent the files by the time I move. I still have a few fixes to do.

John - no, first come, first served.

Hoping you can wait til I get to Boise and settle in. I still have some fine tuning to do. Will send you the .scn file so that you can check it out too.

Try and keep some notes on the game and we can put up a After Action Report once we both reach 80! Er, meant 80 turns!! hehe[:D][:D]
