Post subject:  Request Team Waterloo Game

With the support of the Comte de Montpellier General de Division I Corps D'Artillerie Reserve; Lieutenant's Malcolm and Darren seek a Prussian and British opponent for BGW Waterloo.
To simmulate the mud conditions we request 8 movement points maximum.
Cavalry charges to be on the sides of the artillery to allow for the gun crews to retreat.

I see from the Guards Chhallenge that team games are alive and well.

Just so every allied player knows;

even though the suggested rules favoured defense they are all subjuct to negotiation.

Now step forward to be flattened.

Perhaps one of the Allied players might like to announce themselves and sign up then wait until another Allied player to join.
Maybe a new friendship may develop between two Allied players that have not met before?

Actually with Ney playing I and II Corps and Napoleon the rest on the French side and one British player and one Prussian player it makes for an excellent struggle.

You might find it better to split command of both armies either side of the central road. Escpecially for the Allies as the game is usually won or lost by the time the Prussians arrive. [:)]

It sounds like the "theory" of the British not needing the help of the Prussians needs to be tested.
What do the Prussian officers think of that?
