Seems interesting.
http://www.theguardian.com/books/2014/n ... low-reviewI was wondering did you "suggest" the book to your son or did he find it by himself?
I have discovered that when family members give me a book as a present it's very often a good surprise because they know I like history and military history (and most particularly they know that I love the Napoleonic era) and:
1) it's often about what I like to read but a bit out of the main subject
2) I know I wouldn't think about looking for it because I am more concentrated on certain subjects.
For example a few years ago my wife gave me a book about the Italian origins of Napoleon (
Napoléon Et Sarzane - Les Origines Italiennes Des Bonaparte by Federico Galantini) or another year
Napoleon de la Mythologie à l'histoire (
Napoleon from mythology to history) by Natalie Petiteau I would have never thought about about buying those book on my own.
