Gentlemen,
at the ACWGC there is a topic that describes a problem that could impact all games.
Take a look here:
http://wargame.ch/board/acwgc/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=20408

Maybe it's a problem that only impacts certain users but it would be nice to know where the problem exactly is so we can solve it or at least evade it.
Any member having this problem should give feedback.

Thanks for this information. This would appear to be a Win 10 issue. I have Win 7 at home and work, with all updates installed and have experienced no problems. On the other hand it also appears that not all folks have experienced the problem. So let's not panic just yet.

I have windows 10 which I installed just before Christmas and I have had no problems so far with the games, JTS Waterloo Campaign and Napoleon in Russia and the Matrix Battleground Series. I have to admit I thought if anything I'd have had trouble with latter.

Could it be a problem with Windows 10 security software as I know it's a basic system at the moment compared to other designated anti-virus software. One of the main things it deals with if I remember rightly is email security could it be altering any files attached to an email as read only as a security measure, just a thought.

Thanks for the heads up Christian much appreciated.

Its a dumb MS Outlook problem. That dumb program gave us fits when I worked in IT. The .pst file (local mail file) used to get set to "read only" and folks couldn't open their mail. There was a fix but our top IT guy never shared the answer to the problem. I got told that I was not doing my job because I couldnt find it on my own. I replied that I had shared info with this guy before.

Bottom line: I dont care much for MS products and only used them because 7/10ths of the world IT users do. I also dislike arrogant IT workers too :russianveryhappy:

The IT world is supposed to share their knowledge. I am glad that this community does. Thanks guys!
