Salute,

This is a truly oddball article by Luke Reynolds City University of New York from September 2019 that examines how Waterloo affected British Military culture and overall culture in the 1800s including relics from the battlefield, battlefield tourism, veterans in politics, and veterans as colonial governors to name a few. With a chapter titled: “Gold-Plated Military Orgies:” Waterloo Remembrance and Celebrations, it's an oddball read. Includes a map of Wellington's Funeral Procession and various art. Have fun with it.

I call this an article, so not to mislead, it's 400 pages, so a dissertation that's the length of a book, thanks.
