On this scenario, playing as the French, crossing of the Danube is done south east of Lobau island on three bridges, two 3-hexes long and one 2-hexes long. The problem I encounter is that "random bridge damages" occur too often and are too severe to let the entire Grande Armee cross the river. All of the Grande Armee's pontonniers and sappers companies are working day and night (it's a 2 days scenario) but eventually, I engaged the Austrians on the opposite bank with only the IV Corps (3 divisions), Lanne's wing (1 division and 1/2 as only one brigade from Boudet managed to cross) and Bessieres' cavalry reserve. Oudinot, Davout and the Guard remained blocked on the opposite side.

Is that scenario script supposed to be like that or I really got unluncky with random bridge damage ?

Salutations,
Guindey

I didn't design the scenario, nor have I ever played it. However I suspect the randomness is deliberate - you can play the same scenario several times and have very different games. You have to make the best use of unpredictable resources. I personally prefer unpredictable scenarios.

Let me check the PDT file for this one and the others. The value might be too high.
