back to the issue i still think histwar=40 € is cheaper than 6x50=300$ HPS games.

Can you tell me if Histwar relies on 'ai' for tactical movements, ie btn level?

JMM said the new project, Histwar II, which he is working on now, will be called 'HistWar : Napoléon' instead of 'histwar: les grognards'.

I have this game but couldn't get the hang of it and had screen problems which may have been because I installed it on a Win2000 box. I'm going to have to reinstall it and give it another try. I have downloaded all the mods from JMM's site.

So I just need to install the latest version FullPatch? (03c?) I have two copies of that, of different sizes, plus some older ones. What do you need to get the Prussians and British included?

Hello Andrew. What i did to have a manouver with John is:

installed:
- original cd ...
- directX 9.0
- Run game once and activate the KEY.
.
then installed:
- HistWar-PatchFull03c : http://www.histwar.org/mods/file.php?id=202
- Peninsular War 1.1 : http://www.histwar.org/mods/file.php?id=181
and
Waterloo 1.10 : http://www.histwar.org/mods/file.php?id=180

Rustem greetings, i still quote your first post for nwc HW officers :D you want me to continue or handle it yourself :P many arrived with Histwar lately but mostly French officers ! ... lets see who will get Histwar2 soon. John (from nbc, shako743) is in training and i have a manouver with Marechal Mitchell now ...
