What do you mean register the games? You mean through the DoR? That level of competitiveness just drives players to use exploits for winning's sake. I don't wanna win or be famous just play ;]
Thanks for the link. I'll post there later on.

Geoff,
In historical games, if you ask 10 players how to best model history, you will get 10 answers, as digging through this board and the Blitz (I have seen you post there too-I also play games there) will show. There are many solutions--a lot of players play with victory points for leaders off (I like to play that way but will go either way). Others will say that if the army commander is taken out the battle is over (although for some scenarios, where the main leaders are not present, this does not always make sense).

As for points, it is a courtesy to register games with opponents if they want to. I really don't care too much about my won/loss record and I have played tons of scenarios in that are heavily stacked against the Coalition, losing most of the time.

The key, IMHO, as someone who has been PBEM various games since 2001, is finding a set of opponents whose style you enjoy playing against and then once in a while finding new ones. the JTS/HPS PBEM gaming community is small but it is large enough to find a match!

my 2 cents

Um... I don't see anyone having asked this in this thread or in the 7YW thread.

Oooops... obviously misread something. Deleted my post
