Things are going well for my current game project with John Tiller Software. Reviewing artwork, building campaign files, building maps and OB files, etc. This being the 8th project my goal is to reduce the amount of errors that go out in the files at release while at the same time doing my best to keep up my tradition to make this one a real "stocking stuffer" for the gamer (meaning a lot of material).

Work on my new Nap series will resume in June. We definitely will use 3D or 2D unit look to the game for those that love the miniature feel. Paco seconded that motion so I just need to decide how to get it to look right.

Funding has been adequate. This month I came up a little short and still need $200.00 for the duration of the month. I am behind on my rent for April and May and would like to get caught up and also pay my phone and box rental fees.

Otherwise, heath is good, sciatica is in remission and hernia is not bothering me. Its been a wonderful Winter/Spring here. Lots of rain and wonderful temps. My new room is much cooler too. I think that having a fridge (read: cold beverages) and a ceiling fan combined with the tree that shades my room this will be a much better summer. Last summer was almost unbearable in the "laundry room."

As a means of supplementing my income I am going to look into writing novelettes and posting them on Amazon. I also might just self publish them and post them to my own website instead of going the full commercial route. But lets see how working with Amazon goes.

I may be writing historical fiction. Thinking up some topics that might be of interest.

Very cool Bill! I am glad to read that the new series will have a 3D feature too. Thank you for including that!

Quick update: I have a new game contract with a game company. Cannot go into details but am very excited about this. Just wanted to give you more info on my progress. No funding on it for now but it means I will be employed for at least one year on new work.

Some Idaho internet quips I came up with while living in Boise:

What do you call internet in Idaho? "Spudnet"

Internet service uses which satellite for communication? "Spudnik"

What do users call it when the server has been hacked? "Mashed Spudnet"

And if the server overheats? "Baked Spudnet"

Handheld devices are called "Spudettes."

The really intelligent devices are called "Smartspuds."

Finally, users of the "Spudnet" are known as "Potatoheads."

:russianveryhappy: Ernie will love it ;)
