Got to a point now where I have finished up the campaign order of battle file and have moved on to build the scenarios. I have completed 25 or so of the 236 I need to build.

Along with that the graphics are nearing completion.

I work in the morning and late at night and turn off the PC during the heat of the day. Other gaming has been sporadic. I had to discontinue playing the Pike and Shot game by Slitherine as changing from two to one monitor was causing some odd graphics to show up.

This next month will be filled with lots of production. Hoping to finish it all off nlt 15 Aug or earlier ;)

But please don't quote me if the game isn't out by then :frenchlol1:

Sorry, I am not at liberty to say which one.

However, I am not working on a 1807 or Peninsular game and its not a Russo-Turkish War game either ;)

Update: I am now done with 106 of the 250 scenarios (yes, the number went up but they were copies of other scenarios with slight modifications). That leaves 144 to go. I am hoping no more than 2 weeks and I will be done with this campaign. Then to do up a couple of smaller ones.

You are free to draw your own conclusions - there is also the French invasion of Haiti as well to cover ... oh and the Wars of South American Independence ...

Still several titles out there that could be done ... early French rev. battles, etc. Just not as popular as the others.

The Panzer Campaigns series had a "Sealion" game .. why not "Bonapart in Louisiana?" :russianveryhappy:

Though I am thinking that Sealion did not sell anywhere near as well as Bulge '44 or Stalingrad '42 ...

We have temps in the mid 100s this week starting today thru Saturday. Will be closing down the PC at 4pm each day to keep it from frying.

Making good progress. Finishing up a semi-large map today. Now need to work on the scenarios that go with it for the campaign.

In working on this latest campaign I got some input from Paco who at one point said something to the extent that .. "the gamer wont want to play that scenario" so I did remove some from the game. Even with all of the designing and gaming I have done I still need the input from the guys ;)

Got to the point earlier today to where I have around 70 scenarios left to do at this point. I am going to knock off 6 more tonight before I go to bed. That will finish off 3 of the 4 major branches in the campaign. So 3/4s of the way done with this campaign.

To give you some idea of the length of this one .... Eckmuhl's campaign had 111 branches - add in the 5 Italian branches and its 116.

This one for the game I am working now has 71 branches. Like Eckmuhl the amount of scenarios for each branch varies from 1 to 9.

It took me at least six months to do the Eckmuhl campaign file .... Mark Adams did the small picture map images for it ...

I will have taken 3 mos. to build this one .... and I put the picture maps together myself.

I like the level of detail that went into this one .... I just removed two branches today that I thought were irrelevant ... so I am still on the lookout for ways to make it more enjoyable and also have the story line seem to flow properly. But the story line flows and that is what to me was most important. The outcome of the campaign makes sense ... there may still be a nagging concern that there could have been more but the possibilities in these "decision tree" campaigns are endless. And there is always a chance to add in new branches if I choose to do so later on.
