Brave Officers and Frenchmen of France, it seems we do not rule the waves but recently a British Frigate was caught unloading several chests onto a beach on the European mainland. The Frigate surprised by 2 French Frigates and a Sloop, surrendered after loosing its main mast and had as many holes put into it than there are in Swiss cheese. The chests were recovered and were found to be laden with gold, no doubt to pay the armies allied to the coalition against France. :frenchangry:

On board there were some very odd looking paintings of what looked like John Corbin our Great Commander-in-Chief with a startling moustache drawn on to his face. :hmmm: :frenchoops:

These of course have been thrown overboard and now sit at the bottom of the sea, but no doubt those cruel Coalition officers have made copies and will circle them around Britain and Europe. :frenchlol1:

Due to this bountiful supply of gold, our C-in-C John Corbin has decided to award all officers any back pay they are due.

Over the next few weeks, French Officers will receive an award of OBD Points and possibly medals if they qualify and these will be awarded by Corps.

So please continue the glorious fight in the name of France and our Glorious Empereur, Napoleon.

:frenchvive1: Vive la France
:frenchvive: Vive la Napoleon

I have heard from many a French foot soldier that being captured by the British was the best reward they can receive in these troubling times. That way they are no longer under the control and misguidance of French officers interested more in their silk stockings, especially the fish net ones of the higher ranking officers, than a full stomach of the front line.

As I said, just something over heard at the bistro...
