Post subject:  Free Game Offer - Research for Order of Battle Files

If you think you can help me with compiling order of battle (OB) files for the following battles I would be willing to give you a free copy of this next game I am working on. Here are the battles I need help with. Details will follow after the battle list.

1794
Tourcoing 17-18 May (note: I have put an OB together but I know its not 100% accurate)
Aldenhoven - 2 October

1796
Wetzlar - 15 June
Ettlingen (aka Malasch) - 9 July
Neumarkt - 23 August
Amberg - 24 August
Limburg - 16 Sept
Second Altenkirchen - 19 Sept
Emmendingen - 19 Oct

1800
Biberach - 9 May

Qualifications: you have to help me complete any three of the above to earn the free game. Here is what I need:

Complete ORG layout for the OB. This includes the organization of the army, the names of the units, how many battalions, strengths if you can provide them, names of commanders to include the overall commander down to the names of the brigade commanders (at least 90% - these are sometimes not recorded). A strength for the divisions would be helpful. Thus if you cannot furnish a strength for a unit at least try and determine the strength of the brigade or division.

I still have several months before this title would be released. I would be grateful for anyone that wants to help out. I have run out of time where I can run through the old books and do research. I am looking for someone that would like to contribute, earn a place in the credits and feel that they have helped our hobby move forward.

The only other title I can think of that would be more challenging to research is the Balkan Wars of both Austria and Russia during their wars with the Turks. This game has stretched my limits on how much I can find on battles. Sometimes a gem comes out of the rough to help me break through on the OB research. In some cases like with the Battle of Tourcoing I had to make guesses.

Contact me via the club email listing or by PM from the forum. I look forward to working with someone to help fill in the gaps and provide more battles for the game!
