There is none. These ships were very small and carried a few guns at best. Similar kinds of ships were used by the Americans in the Revolutionary War in the rivers and Chesapeake Bay to great effect. As a matter of fact these small boats destroyed more British ships than our frigates! It has been argued that we should have built more small boats than frigates. Many ships that were being built were destroyed by raids by the British.

So these boats are meant for bombardment and recon work. They were not transports.

Units can be given the "Has Boats" capability in the Scenario Editor. I chose not to do that as this capability is best used in shorter scenarios than the long scenarios in the game. It can be abused. Players would move the unit on land ... then use the "Has Boats" again .... well good luck hauling those boats all over the place. :frenchlol:

There are no plans to introduce transports into this series that I know of. We can "model" transports by having troops land on the shore as reinforcements and then use the Withdraw command to have them leave the map OR we can put an Impassable hex to represent their debarkation point. The unit would move to that hex when it wants to embark on the "transport" - use the "Remove from Map" option under the Command menu like you would to leave via an "Exit" hex.

I saw no transporting of troops on the lake in my sources so I did not introduce it into the game. I am not sure if there was enough shipping on the lake to move large groups of troops. If it existed the Austrians (or French) did not use it.
