When we got the final build for SYW, one of the things that we noted is that John has changed up something in the installer. To my knowledge, SYW is the first game to have this, but to wit:

Where previously John would put a folder in the start menu with access to various files, now ONLY the main program start is in the exe. To get at any of the documentation, campaign start, editors or the like, you have to get there another way. For lots of the docs, you can open them up using hotkeys within the program, but to get at the campaign engine, you have to either get there manually (opening the folder in Windows Explorer) or use the JTS Menu program.

To my understanding, this will be the case for all new games. Just wanted to post this as a headsup. If you don't have the JTS menu program, you'll want it from here on out :)

The Menu Program is in the Downloads section: http://www.johntillersoftware.com/Resources.php

While it takes longer to start up the games using the menu program it saves on having to create a folder with a bunch of shortcuts to the .exe files. I like the menu program - I dont use it enough but it looks like I may have to do that more often now to get used to the newer way of doing things.
