Bill Cann shared some information with me during playtesting that is a factual account of the Russian artillery supply issues for the Winter campaign specifically on the Battle of Eylau. Seems that during the battle the Russians were low on artillery ammunition and steadily withdrew their batteries north to Konigsberg.

In my first full battle game of Eylau my Russians started with 2000 rounds of ammunition but with all of the firing they were running out of artillery ammunition by the halfway point. I upgraded their ammunition allotment to 3000 rounds of artillery ammunition and while this may solve the "game problem" it is probably not accurate.

With this information in mind for those of you that play the Battle of Eylau in the CEF product and note that the Russians do not have enough ammunition to fire their guns all game just remember that the Russians were relying on the Prussians for depot needs. Their original reason for marching west at all was to honor their alliance. With Prussia knocked out in the 1806 campaign they were left with insufficient supplies.

As you play the Battle of Eylau it would be a good idea to keep some batteries in reserve and not on the line where the AI directed defensive fire can consume ammunition. Like the Russians in 1807 you will want to pull about 1/4 of your artillery back to the rear during the game.

Once the game is released a full list of scenarios and campaigns will be available on the product page on the JTS website. For now just figure that (almost) every battle that occurred in Poland will be featured.

Here is a list of the actions and battles included:

December 1806:
Wkra River Crossing battles
Golymin
Pultusk

January-February 1807:
Mohrungen
Jankowo-Bergfried
Rearguard action at Hof
Rearguard action eve of Battle of Eylau
Eylau
1st Ostroleka
Braunsberg

June 1807:
Guttstadt (includes the 2 day action of the 5th and 6th and the Allied rearguard action on the 9th)
Spanden
Lomitten
Heilsberg
Friedland
2nd Ostroleka (a 2 day action but one day scenarios ...)

Just got the final Units.bmp file from Mark Adams. He is moving on to work on the Leaders.bmp file. Last I heard he was done with the French and on to the Russians. Each leader gets its own unique number in this file so that if in the future we find images they can be added in.

There are four campaign files. The main campaign covers from December 1806 to June 1807. There is a Winter campaign file and a Spring campaign file as well as a variant Spring campaign file (both armies stayed in Winter quarters).

As Poland was a different environment compared to Italy, Germany or Austria, were there any adjustments made to the game compared to the former titles?

No changes to the game. We cover the environmental conditions in the PDT file and in how the maps were created. For instance in Poland there were not a lot of good roads thus there are a lot of ROAD terrain and not as many PIKEs as usual.
