MOE VI

On Feb 1, 2019, we will begin the Master of Europe VI tournament.

Rich Hamilton, on behalf of JTS, has offered a prize to the winner. The winner will have his choice of one free game. My heartiest thanks.

If you are interested, send me an email with games you own so I can match up players.

We will follow the MOE IV Rules listed here:

http://www.wargame.ch/wc/nwc/Club_Webpa ... index.html

Basic Rules

La Grande Armee members will command the French forces in the various Scenarios
Allied Officers, will command allied units in the scenarios.

Scenarios come from any Napoleonic title so long as the scenario is balanced and agreeable to both parties.

Scenarios will be chosen by the combatants. Additional house rules can be used
but must agreeable by both parties.

NO MIRROR MATCHES

1 - You have 8 weeks to complete each round. Hard rule, no exceptions
2 - The Final round players will be allowed 10 weeks t complete the game. Hard rule, no exceptions
3 - Failure to communicate with an opponent for 2 weeks means disqualification.
4 - First round games will be with scenarios of 20 turns or less.
5 - Second round games will be with scenarios between 20 and 30 turns
6 - Third round games will be with scenarios between 30 and 40 turns
7 - Final round will be a scenario of greater than 40 turns but not a huge monster thing

I would ask that you be sure you can commit to these games if you sign up

For the longer 40 turn scenarios .. may I suggest that you allow 10 weeks for those. That cuts it down to 4 turns per week instead of 5. Some of the guys may be pressed to get that much done in so short of a time.

Otherwise I like the new time limit rule.

The pairings are you:

Also for those playing, Bill Cann has made a list of some suggestions for Round 1 Scenarios:

I started a list of reasonably balanced scenarios for round One. The list is incomplete as it does not cover all HPS or JTS Napoleonic games, but it may save some time for those entered once the pairings are announced.

CBZ-008 Lutzen-H3 (12),

CBZ-036 Konigswartha (18),
