The fun part of playing games in the club is role playing the over-all-commander of the side you're playing. However, my wife thinks I may have gone too far this time. I'm currently engaged against Muddy at Waterloo. Now y'all remember Nappy is suspected to have had some health issues dogging him during the campaign and battle.

Lori thinks my having my gall bladder removed yesterday, as the game enters turn 9 or 10 was over the top.

:nappy:

Really did have surgery. Sore as all get out, but I think I'll make it. Now back to battle(s): Waterloo and Pultusk.

Hmm ..... ok ... Al - if surgeries are indicative of overly roleplaying our officer then my heart attack on Memorial Day weekend (and subsequent stent implant in a major artery in my heart) must hearken back to those days where Paco's cavalry would run over my troops time and time again! ROFL (btw - doing much better now ... have been back to working on the games and taking bike rides on the Greenbelt)

Loving Spudsville. Today I walked out of the VA Med Center just loving this area. Really glad to be back. :frenchsalute:

Thanks again to so many of you that helped make this all possible. For the first time since 2014 I have a place to live that has AC and heating.

Ok - back to role playing. Tells Helga to send Gen. Sands a Sarsaparilla.

"Ernie is on the wagon these days since busting up the French officers quarters at St. Cyr. ;)"

Glad to hear you survived and are recovering nicely. Paco nearly killed us all at one time or another. ;-)
