The holidays begin with the WDS Winter Sale in my home. From the Napoleonic series of games I only own Bonaparte's Peninsular War and Waterloo. I am seeking suggestions for the next game to purchase in terms of scenario playability and a good mix of interesting scenarios. Suggestions?

Bautzen + Leipzig would be my pick. Lots of balanced scenarios.
From Campaign mode perspective, I would say Echmuhl + Wagram Campaigns.
Napoleon Russia Campaign has the best unit icons in my view and Borodino battle is never dying classics for PBEM.

Hey Dwain, glad to see your post!

I agree with Alexey and for the reasons he's mentioned as well. Leipzig is very often recommended as one to get! Lots of great scenarios big & small.

Agreed, Leipzig is surely a must have.

I will echo the support for Russian Campaign and Leipzig. The two Revolutionary Wars titles for me are also great favorites - Republican Bayonets on the Rhine and Marengo.

Leipzig is one of my latest purchases, and I agree, that there's a huge variety of games to chose from. You also won't be short of finding an opponent.

I'm a big fan of Republican Bayonets. Again there's a wide range of battle sizes, and it's interesting to see the development of the French army through the time period.

I currently have seven titles, I've enjoyed them all, though Eylau would be my least favourite.

It's been said before though, if there's a particular battle/campaign that interests you, buy that one.

I am glad to see that NRC, like Waterloo, got newer unit art images. For that reason alone I would go with that game. Leipzig or Marengo also.

The latter is my sentimental favorite of the games I worked on. It goes back to the days when I was a teenager playing the old "Napoleon At War Quad" boardgame title by SPI.

NRC is a personal favorite of mine. Lots of good scenarios in that one other than the Battle of Borodino. I have played many of the scenarios in that one and like the play balance and drama of the battles.

RBR is packed full of interesting battles for anyone that is not up on this period of the wars. Joe Amoral and Mark Adams really did a nice job on the artwork.
