My apologies to all. I sort of hit a mental wall after the last issue, in June 2003. I was no longer getting the joy from producing the NWC Newsletter that made the enormous effort worthwhile. I hoped that taking a pause would put things back in balance. The pause was never intended to last 1 1/2 years! Real life intervened (job change, intercontinental move).

Well, I'm back! [:D] I have some manuscripts in the files, and issue XXIII can soon become a reality. I'd like to hear your thoughts about the NWCN. What did you like, and not like, about past issues? What would you like to see from now on? For instance, we don't necessarily have to have a listing of every medal or promotion earned by every officer. I'd be happy to have each Army submit whatever it liked (promotion lists, or boasts of national greatness, or paeans). How about a Meet the Leaders section devoted to club members? Wouldn't you like to know the real scoop on Ken "Muddy" Jones or Bill Peters? In the style of my inaugural Editorial (issue XIV, I believe), this could include a fictional biography of the 19th-Century personality, and another section about the 21st-Century manifestation who pays the ISP.

Anybody want to try his hand at humor? [:o)]

Always looking for more manuscripts,
Your Friendly Editor [8D]
