Hello guys,

I have been away for a few years, but still lurk around the boards occasionally. I would like a French officer to babysit/play a smaller/medium scenario to help me get back in the swing of PBEM.

Any scenario you want, any rules. I really don't care about winning, just getting back to playing an opponent.

Sir,

I'm ready. What do you think about 027_Castiglione-2_HTH or 098_Marengo_HTH?

Typical rules, all are on, without MDF, PR and MIM. NOFAS option is simulation of mutual firing of both sides in attack or defend.

Even MDF option is good for me (few sub-turns, instead one)

Sir,

027 without manual def fire, sounds like a ball. I can probably do about 2-3 turns a week, if that is acceptable.

Where can I find the "house rules"? I want to be a clean player, and it's been awhile.

I will await your turn at petrogm@hotmail.com

Respectfully,

Hi Mike,

"House rules" are general rules between us. We decide about them. At now, we haven't any house rules. Do you mean about optional rules from menu game?

I'll send you file.

Good luck!

Hey Cezaray,

Meh, I recall setting rules about cavalry NOT charging villages (buildings ok), even though that is a poor tactic. Also, rules about skirmishers and range limitations from parent units (besides garrisons).

I really don't care either way. Carry on!

Respectfully,

Mike,

Very nice battle! Well done! How is good, like in old style, that you use extended lines of infantry and cannons!! En Avant!!! :frenchcharge:
