Opening Statments:

Yet another game has come our way! Campaign 1814 by John Tiller Software (former HPS game designer). The game follows up where Campaign Leipzig leaves off. With the Allies chasing Napoleon into France. The game has all the major battles and the Siege of Paris itself. It has all the same great in game features that are in Leipzig. Four hundred different scenarios to play, eight different campaigns and battles as small as 12 turns and as large as 300. Plus fight on a major portion of the Brie Plateau leading up to Paris. The game will surely have replay value for all who buy it. Our very own Bill Peters created this game, researched it and had a great support team working with him to ensure the best possible accuracy. The Prussian Armee is in good shape in this one, with very fair ratings for our men. It also includes extensive use of Austrian, Italian and other German forces.. Our very own Preußische Armee is a main force in the game. All of our famous battles, in which the Glorious Blücher, Gneisenau, Yorck and so many others made legendary for all Prussian history! It is worth checking out and buying....

The Club has started the Struggle of Nations Tournament has started Round 2 and will be shortly starting Round 3. It is progressing well and there are still a few brave warriors of Prussia left in the fight.

Though it is with sad news that I announce the retirement of a longtime serving member of the Armee. General der Infanterie Simone Prinz Tombesi von Nordhausen has asked to take leave to his East Prussian estates so that he may enjoy civilian life for a while. Simone has served in many positions in the Armee and was the webmaster and I. Armee-Korps Korpskommandeur for many years. He will truly be missed, but is welcome back anytime. For his manys years of service he will be honored in Valhalla the Preußische Armee Ruhmeshalle (Prussian Armee Hall of Glory).

The Club continues to grow and the Armee has been very active with many of our officers getting award and honors. We are strong now after a number of years of slower activity.

Overall the Generalstaff is pleased with where the Armee & Club are headed.
