Bulletins de l'Armée du Nord

Quatre Rigodons

Grenadier and Voltigeur, 1808

His Excellency
Maréchal Steve Peluso
Général en Chef
La Grande Armée

Mon Maréchal,

My compliments and herein is submitted for your consideration l’Armée du Nord’s Muster and General Report for the period of April through June '03.

Report Report, Part II

I. General Report

A key development over the last quarter has been the steady growth of the IIème Corps d'Armee. Under the steady leadership of le Comte de Suchet, GdD Jensen, the IIème Corps is now the largest in l'Armée du Nord and now encompasses three divisions of infantry, the 5ème through 7ème Divisions d'Infanterie, together with the 2ème Division de Cavalerie Légère. I am also pleased to report that le Comte de Garonne, Drew Stone, has received a richly deserved baton and been promoted to the rank of Maréchal. It is with sincere regret that I must announce the retirement of Col. Schulze as commander of the 7ème Division d'Infanterie, however the command of this division has passed into the capable hands of le Comte de Garonne, Maréchal Drew Stone. I also commend to everyone’s attention the spacious new headquarters of the IIème Corps d'Armée located at http://www.geocities.com/en_avant_iicorps/index.html.

The Ier Corps de Réserve de Cavalerie has completed its re-organization, the details of which are noted below.

Finally, although the entire army has, as always, remained in the forefront of l’Empereur’s battles, I would like to draw special attention to GdB Baron Ghislain Krygier, le Comte d'Alexandrie, GdD Gabriel Rodriguez and le Duc de Zurich, Gén. Bill Peterson who have now reached the quarter-finals of the MOE II Tournament. Special mention should also be made of the seven teams (four from the IIC, two from the I Res Cav and one from the IIIC) that have entered the NWC Divisional Tournament.
