I guess I have to ask, why are club rules needed in the first place? Why not make rule 6.1.1.3 a "house rule?"

I imagine it is because people forget to ask the relevant questions and then bitch about it after the fact. Well sir, I did not know you could do that!

I know that the club does not allow a player to remove units from the map for the sole purpose of avoiding a loss in VPs. The only legit reason, that I am aware of, is for players to remove units from a predesignated exit hex. But what about this scenario? Since any player can view the scenario ahea...

All Do unlimbered cannon in a woods hex get the -40 % Protection that the hex shows i saw a post that says no but cannot find an answer in the rules Yes, they do What!? When did that change? When Antietam v4.05.3 was rolled out ( https://wargameds.com/blogs/news/civil-war-battles-4-03 ) we were tol...

Generally speaking, because leaders can be used in a somewhat gamey fashion. I made the design decision to rarely use SICs in a battle at the same time. Same with leaders for artillery. I rarely have even FICs for artillery.

Scenario 003 in Antietam has different possible entry points for reinforcements. At 8:00 a.m. a brigade for Runyon's division has a 25% chance of showing up (159,0). There is no road there and it is in deep woods. I'm sure this is a mistake.

Fixed: I removed the [159,0] entrance chance.

The Wauhatchie scenarios always seemed off to me. Campaign Chickamauga - scenarios 77 to 80 inclusive. The Yanks start off with 1500 men (Cobham's PA Bde & Ireland's New Yorkers) and the Rebs (Jenkins' SC Bde) start off with 1200 men plus. The Yanks get 4 Napoleons also. Ireland's Brigade is fi...

Members of the ACWGC Eventually, but no dates are set, there will be an update to the series. With that in mind, are there any fixes and or tweaks that you would like to see made to the "official" scenario listings. I would like to limit these fixes, if any, to the 8 titles that I designe...

A few minor points since I'm sorting all scenarios on dates in Campaign Shiloh to get a timeline for a campaign, the 1st 5 the year s/b 1862, the last 2 year s/b 1862, also month s/b 4: File Name-Title (YYYY-MM-DD) 080 Jk_Battle of Jackson.scn-On the way to Shiloh; March 25, 1862 (1861-3-25) 081 Jk...

As for my first ACW battlefield. I visited Nashville in 1988, where I met my 1st wife. I briefly visited Shy's Hill (Battle of Nashville). There wasn't much there. I didn't much get into ACW until I moved to Tenn in 1990. Before that I mostly studied WWII.

As a personal preference, I would rather see the movement factors contained in Chickamauga 039 in lieu of Antietam. The reason being that I'm used to cavalry being able to move 24 hexes instead of just 20, but if that was the standard then I could live with it. You are correct that there are some s...

Without checking every scenario (checked 2 or 3 scattered throughout the lists) for each game, here is what I found. The numbers indicate the movement costs for infantry (first number is cost in line, and the second number is cost in column) in forests. Antietam 5/4 Atlanta 5/5 Chancellorsville 5/4...
