| Post subject: | Gator Alley wins Major Victory at Chickamauga |
Gentlemen <salute> I am happy to report that Gator Alley has posted a major victory in a MP battle at Chickamauga against a mixed team of Yankees commanded by Brigadier General Lutz Schmidt of the AotP. Brigadier General Tim Reneau commanded the gators for this battle and was instrumental in our victory. The rest of the team consisted of Major General David Peek, Colonel Chris Newcomb, and myself. Brigadier General Reneau's ability to quickly diseminate changes in orders and tireless efforts on the battlefield allowed our forces to launch a devastating attack on the Yankee XIV Corps on their left flank and press our advantage until night finally settled in. XIV Corps suffered in excess of 70% casualties during the day, and an attempt to launch a counterstrike with the XX Corps on our left was repulsed with forces assembled hastily and commanded personally by General Reneau. An excellent job commanding by an excellent officer <salute>. General Strickler, we present you with a major victory in hopes that it will see our forces victorious in February's "Cruel War" campaign. |
