Gentlemen <salute> General Roger Hulinsky has assumed the position of Chief of the Armies, CSA, effective 1 November, replacing General Cam McOmish whose term of office has come to an end. General McOmish is an exceptional officer and enjoyed a very successful term of office, and everyone should thank him and offer him a drink as they run into him in the various taverns. General Hulinsky has created a Chief of the Armies thread in the Mason Dixon Tavern at the following link: viewtopic.php?f=4&t=19243 It is my understanding that this is to be the main hub of information for the Confederate States Army, and there are 3 Special Orders posted at the time of this dispatch. Special Order #2 has directed that I assume command of the Army of the Mississippi immediately. It would be an honor to share this message with General Miller, however it appears that real life has him quite busy at the moment. I'd like first to thank Tim for his leadership and guidance as commander, and if my accomplishments can come to half of what he contributed to the Army of the Mississippi I will consider it a successful command. Tim, thank you suh! I will dispatch riders to the various corps, division and brigade headquarters on the morrow. I know with everyone's support the Army of the Mississippi can continue to be an example for the rest of the CSA to endeavor to meet. Highest regards, |

Lt General Hebert, Neal, Thank you for posting that link to "The Office of the Chief of Armies". Why it even worked... did you do that? ![]() I'm planning on tracking & posting the Victories of the various Confederate Armies on the wall in my Office starting with the month of November. It should inspire some spirited competition between our Armies and a whole lot of wailing and gnashing of teeth in the Union camp. I'm pretty darn sure I'll be seeing a lot of victories from the AotM there. Particularly when you've got some masterful fighter's like Major General Vandergriff running around and cutting Yanks down like he does! ![]() Well... you boys take care. I'll be checking in on you to see what trouble... errr... I mean gloriously wonderful things you are doing! <salute> |
