Lieutenant General Dale Carpiaux has retired after 17+ years in the club. Dale joined the club in January 2001 and was posted to the Army of Alabama. During his time with the AoA he served as a Divisional and Corps Commander. He also served as a DC in the AotW and the AoT. Whilst active Dale fought 111 battles, so he was never shy about taking it to the Union. Dale has made a big contribution to our club and I wish to thank him for his time and effort, both on the battle field and with club admin. <SALUTE> I do hope that comes back to the colours some time in the future. The bar is now open and the AoT bar fund is paying.
