Gentlemen! Both the Eastern Theatre and the ANV ARE RECRUITING! I would greatly appreciate an explanation - on this Thread - as to why a New Cadet is being deliberately misled by Senior CSA Officers? Many Thanks. Pat. |

Us westerners midlead? Never! It's not like we nailed signs on trees that say, "This Area Closed by Order of the Health Inspector" and then paid some locals to spread rumors that the Eastern Armies were suffering from incurable dysentary. Because that would be just wrong

Mark, The ANV is still fighting in the field and we are accepting new graduates from VMI. General McOmish's post is just for fun and is something that he used to do when we both worked at VMI together. Mark, We would be honored to have you as a member of the ANV! The official procedure is for you to tell your instructor that you wish to be posted with the ANV and he will then tell the VMI Commandant of your request. At graduation CSA HQ will inform the Eastern Theater Commander, General Bob Weir, that a new Field Lt. from VMI is to be given a command with the ANV and then the ETC will inform me. We look forward to your up coming graduation and your service to the CSA. John |
