Gentlemen
I am delighted to advise that as a result of the 100% muster of three divisions of the Mighty Army of Northern Virginia for the last 3 months Gen Weir has graciously granted these divisions a week furlough in Richmond at his expense! Yes......at his expense!!!! Three whole divisions!
The divisions are:
General Ludwig's 2nd Div of II Corps (Hill's Light Division)
General Gandt's 3rd Cavalry Div of II Corps (German Dragoon Div)
and last but not least
General Krenek's 3rd Div of III Corps (Texas Division)
