Gentlemen

I am delighted to announce that Brig Gen Richard White has been appointed to the command of 2nd Division (Palmetto Guards) III Corps.
Brig Gen White has a distinguished record in our Army. He is an extremely active commander on the battlefield with numerous battles fought and he is also a fine officer with regard to the admin of his brigade (excellent Muster record).

Congratulations on your appointment Sir.

General Kitchen has agreed to release the supplies of "liberated" Yankee refreshments so please join us at the Clump of Trees for a rip roaring party.
