Gentlemen,
It gives me great pleasure to award Lt. Gen. Alphonse Demere the War Horse Medal. This medal is awarded for reaching 1,000 OBD Battle-only points in the DoR. Demere has been a member of the ACWGC since March of 2001. He has recorded 101 battles in the Department of Records and logged 3,882 turns in these battles. He has commanded a Corps in this army in the past and now serves as a brigade commander in the III Corps. This is a very special accomplishment and one that takes great dedication and perseverance to achieve.
