Gentlemen, General Nix recently informed me that his 'settling in' period for his new job and family relocation (to a different state) is taking longer than he anticipated and that he is staying too swamped to handle additional administrative duties at this time. Fortunately, General Cross has the opposite 'real life' situation -- things have settled down in his new job to the point he is ready to return to active duty in whatever capacity he can best be used. I commend General Ludwig for handling both the Western Theater command AND the CSA Chief of Staff position over the summer. I am sure the few extra OBD points he has been earning have not been worth all the extra work I've been having him do [:)] ! I am hereby appointing General Chris Cross to the CSA Chief of Staff position, effective October 1. He will be working to set up a new CSA HQ site to relieve General Ludwig of this burden.
