I have been doing some graphics for the hps civil war campaign's and have come up against the old problem that all stop me adding new icons except the original Corinth. Example 14th Brooklyn could have it's own graphic so to the 69th NewYork. Guns could have rebel crews or union crews. In Corinth I can add a unit icon 297 and beyond and the game still works with all the others no go. I think these mods add to the game. Can the game designers alter this. Can some of the guys who are in this club who are connected please please do something about this.
Please let me know your feelings.

Hi, General,

I downloaded the graphics for Vicksburg from Notso's site and am very pleased. I understand something about a lockout but the graphics worked fine in HPS Vicksburg.

They will work fine but in the original Corinth you can have many many more icons. They can all be different. Check out the Gettysburg graphics also at http://www.xtreme-gamer.com/forums/downloads.php?do=file&id=1295. I am hoping Notso can put them up on his site also.

I have downloaded General Mullins Graphics and they look very fine. However, I'm still getting units that 'switch loyalties' in the Gettysburg Campaign. That is some Reb units show up with Union flags and vice versa. Same for Vicksburg Campaign. Anyone else encountering this?

I had to go back to the original rather plain graphics.

There are differences in the use of picture id's from one HPS game to another. In one game the designer used a picture for one side that was used for the other in another game. In addition within the games wagons and guns used the same picture for both sides. The only way around this if you want to create side specific pictures is to create a new units.bmp for each game after studying the OOB's to determine which side uses which picturein that particulr game. There is no one set that will work with all the games. If you're looking for some color picture units.bmp you can try my site at http://home.comcast.net/~krmiller_cor/
