You Rebel boys will be so laden down with medals, you won't be able to move out of your tents. Also, they make such excellent targets, all bright and shiny.[:p] Ernie Sands General, Commanding, Army of Ohio ![]() ACWGC Cabinet member |

Gentlemen, congratulations[^], all are well deserved and to long in coming. It is good to see service being recognised and rewarded. Now it seems mighty strange to me [?] that after such a large award ceremony, after all that time of being on that cursed parade square[:(!], all dressed up in our finery and metal, there has been no mention of liquor, food or women[:X]. Has the after ceremony party failed to be organised, or has someone just decided to keep the old codgers out[:(!]? Gentleman we can do this the easy way[:p] or the hard way[}:)], If I have to search to find the celebrations (and find it I will, especially if General Tony Malone[xx(] and his mule is any where in the vicinity) then my boys will have a fine wrecking time. However if we are cordially invited then my boys will be the finest example of respectability this side of over here. For now I will raise a bottle of stolen ‘Ned Simms’ gut rot[xx(], it is the poorest excuse for liquor a man could find, but as I am now on Brigade wages and not Theatre Commanders, it is the best I can come up with, hence the desire to find the good stuff[;)] !!!!!!!!! Cheers. Gen Ian Rousell "England's Pride" VI/III/II - AoG |

Hey General Rousell, <salute> Ride on over to the Chickasaw Bayou, there's plenty of BBQ pork, chicken, collard greens, pinto beans, sweet potatoe pie, peacan pie, slaw, sweet tea, good homemade shine [:p]. The good stuff is behind the bar and was barrowed from General Mallory liquar cabinet from the last time he was on tour of the Army of the Mississippi. Respectfully, B.G. General Rousell, Good to hear from you, sir. (I knew it was you before I even read the signature line -- I recognized all the emoticons [:D] !) I was afraid you might have been shipped off to the "Old Officers' Home". Let's the two of us old fogeys totter on over to the Chickasaw Bayou Saloon and tie one on for old times' sake. If I remember correctly, it's YOUR turn to pay [:)] ! Your humble servant, Gen 'Dee Dubya' Mallory ![]() David W.
