Post subject:  Format Options not working when posting?
Is anyone having difficulty with the formatting when posting in the tavern? When I post and try to "underline" something or "italicize" a word the final result does not appear in the "show" window nor in the final post.

For example I am going to "underline" the word "underline" in this sentence. It never appears underlined in the post. Does anyone know why? I select it and hit the underline button above but it doesn't do anything EXCEPT put the html characters for underlining at the end of the post. A bunch of <u> symbols.

That's all it does. You have to write the text you want underlined <u>between</u> those two tags. The one without the slash is an opening tag, the one with the slash is a closing tag. They define how the text between them will be formatted.
