Gentlemen: It is my duty to announce the retirement of Gen. Andy Burke from command at the Army of Georgia. Throughout his tenure, Gen. Burke has provided the Army of Georgia with a guiding hand and superior leadership. The CSA is indebted to Gen. Burke for his service and wishes him the best in the future. At the same time, it also my duty and pleasure to announce the posting of Gen. Den McBride to command the Army of Georgia. Gen. McBride is a long time club member and will continue the fine traditions of one of the Confederacy's finest armies. Drink up boys, the bar is being covered by Gen. Kunz. Gen. J. Cuneo, CSA Chief of Staff Gen. J. Cuneo, CSA Army of Alabama, Commanding ![]() ![]() "I have seen the faces of men, who had dared death so often, it lost its' terror." -J.S. Mosby |
