The muffled drum's sad roll has beat The soldier's last tattoo; No more on Life's parade shall meet That brave and fallen few. On fame's eternal camping ground Their silent tents to spread, And glory guards, with solemn round The bivouac of the dead. I am sure most of us here know this and where it comes from. It is fitting for all soldiers no matter what war. As historians, history buffs, war-gamers and any combination there of I am sure we can appreciate the whole poem, but I do not think pasting all of it here is wise as it is so long, but I have always liked this first passage. So I SALUTE! all of the fallen of both sides in this conflict we fight here, and to all Americans who have fallen fighting for this great nation. May we never forget.
